Legacy Of The Divine Tarot Cards

Last week I decided that I wanted to get a deck of Tarot cards to help me with my intuitive development, and I was lucky enough to have my husband offer to get them for me as a Christmas gift.  So, off I went in search for the perfect deck.  After about an hour of looking in different places online I came across the Legacy of the Divine set and was completely amazed at the detailed craftsmanship of these cards.  I knew right away that these cards were the ones for me!

The creator of these cards is Ciro Marchetti and he is truly a master at his craft.  He is originally from the United Kingdom, where he studied art in London, and his career led him through Europe and South America before deciding to settle in the United States.  He has a design agency in Florida where he creates his visions, and he also gives workshops and lectures on digital imagery and illustration at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute.

Although I have not received the cards yet, I was able to use some pictures from his website so that I can show you just how beautiful these cards are.  Not only are these cards full of symbolism, they have a story behind them.  You can find this story on an interactive website that he has built just for these cards.  That website is www.legacyofthedivinetarot.com.  You are able to get a general feel of the website as a visitor, but in order to experience the full website you’ll need to become a member.  From what I have seen of the site thus far, I definitely plan on becoming a member.

Four more sleeps till Christmas!

  • Very cool imagery. There seems to be so much meaning and detail to every card that you might not pick up until seeing it many times.

I love his cards, I have the Gilded Tarot and they are gorgeous! SO much imagery to get your intuition flowing!

Looking forward to hearing more from you & Paul

    Kind regards, Rachael x

      Hi Rachael,
Thanks for the comment! I also have this deck and I agree that they are gorgeous! I received the Gilded Tarot at the same time as the Legacy Tarot and I am really looking forward to learning both decks inside out! I have been working on learning the Gilded Deck at the moment and I am hoping to post an update soon on what I’ve been up to. 🙂 Look forward to hearing your feedback!

Looking forward to your post to see how you are getting on! A website for your info – learntarot.com – has a few more useful explanations/definitions. Don’t want to sound patronising (lol) in case you already are but draw a card a day and get to know it. Write down how that card makes you feel int he morning and at the end of the day, write down what happened in relation to the meanings/definitions. That way you will start to understand what the card means to you as they all mean something different to us all. Good luck & keep me posted!x

Thanks for the tip! I am going to start doing the one a day thing. I also just started looking at that website too!!! There looks to be some good info on there. Thanks!

  • I haven’t been drawn to tarot, yet!, but I have a number of oracle decks…they are ALL amazing.

The latest acquired deck is Ascended Masters by Doreen Virtue. I highly recommend them. They have been spookingly (is that a word?) accurate and definitely helpful on my journey.

I’ve wondered about oracle cards….but I don’t know anything about them, the difference between them and the tarot cards. Something I will have to research!

I too have this deck and at the moment it is the only one that I use. The imagery is familiar to me some how, not so much from a dream but the people I see around me. I see my mother in the high priestess and other family members all throughout the deck. I love the clockwork detailing as well as the vibrant colors. Thank you for you post. It helped me show a dear friend just how wonderful these cards are.
